Here are some of the activities we did to complete this badge.
The girls worked together designing our troop's first-aid kit. Each girl was responsible for contributing something different to our troop's kit. We talked about what to do in the event of an emergency and what the differences are between a minor emergency compared to a serious emergency. We spoke about authoritative figures we could go to if there was a situation where they needed help.
The most fun was challenging the group to a band-aid relay. We divided the girls into two teams. We split the teams in half and positioned them across the room from each other. Each girl had to unwrap the band-aid and apply it to a location on their team mate that we called out (cheek, elbow, forehead, knee). This was a lot of fun and we ended up with some nicely bandaged girls.
